asteroid asclepius and snakes - 11/22

asclepius is the father of hygieia and is the god of healing medicines in greek mythology !! his staff has a serpent wrapped around it so i feel this asteroid can be used to find an admiration towards snakes :)

in may, i made this poll on twitter, asking people if they had any strong asclepius aspects in their charts !!

the majority of people voted yes and i got a multitude of interesting responses:

• "Conjunct my sun within 3°, I want this giant dragon tattoo on my side... I love snake bracelets and jewelry"
• "yeah 1° conjunct my sun (chart ruler) and i LOVE snakes"
• "please, i have it in my 3rd house next to my chart ruler... i have a huge snake tattoo on my leg. always have loves snakes."
• "conjunct my moon and jupiter, literally had a zookeeper surprised at how well a boa constrictor got along w/ me."

HOW ASCLEPIUS ASPECTS SHOW UP IN THE NATAL CHART:

• with the sun: usually have snake-like features such as sharp eyes or a prominent nose. snakes tend to be their favorite / one of their favorite animals
• with the moon: often find snakes cute, adorable, harmless, etc., they feel like they "relate" to snakes in some way and get along with them easily
• with mercury: there's an innate desire to learn more about snakes and other reptiles; these placements are very talented at figuring out who's "a snake in the grass" just by talking to / observing them
• with venus: love snake or dragon tattoos, there tends to be an appreciation for snakeskin clothing or fabric that is particularly "reptilian"
• with mars: they act like snakes whenever they're angry — brooding and very attentive before they strike. often have frustration that is "venomous" and spreads to others
• with jupiter: can be snake handlers or go to college to study reptiles. they seem to have an inherent wisdom about the way snakes behave and how to interact with them
• with saturn: they're often avoidant of snakes or generally hold a distaste towards them. authority figures around these people can be snakes in the sense that they're untrustworthy
• with uranus: they are very keen on not having two-faced people in their friend groups (just like mercury - asclepius aspects); they create friendships / can deeply bond with people over betrayal
• with neptune: more often have dreams with snakes or snake-like figures; their spiritual guides tend to send them snakes as sign. these placements usually take an interest in water snakes and other amphibious reptiles
• with pluto: more likely to have an admiration for extremely venomous / deadly snakes, a tendency to enjoy particularly dark and undisturbed places just like a snake would
